If you have an older Phosphate, Carbon or any other "upwelling design" reactor, they are usually designed for low flow with sponge plenums. In the new Bio-Pellet paradigm, we now want high-flow reactors but the problem is that the sponges restrict flow far too much, they clog easily, and the pump supplied is anemic and low-flow.

We now supply custom-cut rigid polypropylene grids which allow tremendous flow but have holes small enough to keep Bio-Pellets contained in the reactor.

Instructions: Simply remove the top cover of your old reactor and pull out the center stem of the reactor. Remove the sponge and or plenum. Slide on the lower rigid grid to the bottom

• 2 Polypropylene Rigid Discs
• 4 Silicone O-Rings
• Eco-Plus Eco 396 (300-350 GPH)
• 5 feet of black TekTube non-kink tubing.
