Duo Friction hinges from Hafele (rhymes with "Hey, Fella!)

Duo Friction Hinges are an ingenious way to easily position your lights. Simply lift the lights if you need room to work in your tank and the lights will stay where you put them. When you want to lower them or just position them precisely, just gently pull down into the desired position. The friction hinges are adjustable with an included hex key. Also includes mounting hardware. We have a very cool, clean and smart setup using the Duo hinges and AquaIllumination LEDs.

Hafele Duo hinges were intended for use in cabinetry for panel doors and other uses. We found they work amazingly well to raise and lower your lights when you need clearance inside your aquarium, and also to precisely position your lights.
