Product Description

New Lower Price! Now In Stock! The new Super Sol is Blue Heaven! No sacrificing intensity to get the color you want.
Cree XP-E Blue and Royal Blue LEDs. Crank up the Intensity and Feel the Glow!!!

Less energy (72 Watts), yet brighter! Includes Full-Function Controller!!! New Lower Price! The new AquaIllumination LED module incorporates the new and more efficient Cree XP LED series and an improved optical lens which results in increased output and better light spread while using less energy!

By including the combination of Cree XP-E Blue and Royal Blue LED’s, creation of the deeper blue light spectrum demanded by Reef enthusiasts is achieved. The XP-E’s are exceptionally efficient in covering the 450-465 nm range, while still producing comparable PAR values to the standard AI Sol White.

This AquaIllumination LED system is a 1-module kit complete with dedicated controller, power supply (1 per module) and active cooling system. Only One Controller Needed! One controller can control an infinte number of Sol LED modules.

This 1-Module kit is generally recommended for tanks 24 - 30" long (or a hex tank) and at least 24" deep (usually 50 - 75 gallons)

For tanks that are 16 - 20" deep (top-to-bottom), we recommend the TMC AquaBeam 1000

Recommended Tank Width (front to back): up to 30". Tank Depth: 36" maximum

  1. Awesome reef lighting system, period!!

Posted by CB on 28th Apr 2011

These lights blow away anything I have tried for my reef system, including HQI and metal halide HIDs, with chiller, huge elec bills, etc. The fan is whiper quiet and goes on only when needed. With the controller I have total control of both the intensity and color of the light, and the "thunderstorm" simulation is great fun. I bought 1 super sol kit just to test it out... I'm buying two more modules and selling my other (brand new) LEDs on eBay.
