The replaceable blade makes all the difference. The blade is soft enough that it cannot scratch acylic.

Tip from the Pros: Get a small piece of plywood and tape or glue a piece of sand paper (120-150 grit is perfect). Sand the blade to give it a sharp edge. This will make coralline algae removal from the tank panes a snap. The blade will dull fairly quickly but you'll see how much faster yuo can work with a sharp blade.
