Red Dragon-Powered
The heart of the Vertex Alpha Kone is the the famous Red Dragon pump, from Royal Exclusiv. The Red Dragon Mini boasts 317 (1200 LPH, 1400 with Super-Nozzle) output while only drawing 38Watts!

The air-induction venturi is furnished with an additional port to easily incorporate ozone. For added performance, the venturi can be adjusted from its stock 317 GPH (1500 LPH) output to 370 GPH (1400 LPH).

High-Performance, High-Efficiency Design
The full-body conical reaction chamber, the Vertex Alpha Kone eclipses all the traditional designs of conventional protein skimming. By allowing the foam mass to accumulate in a gently sloping transition zone, protein extraction is remarkably increased. The conical reaction chamber also features an oversized, turbulenc- reducing bubble plate. Finally, the unit can be fully disassembled for routine and thorough maintenance. The fasteners are manufactured with highly corrosion resistant titanium.
